When will we pay compensation?
We will pay compensation for direct damage, which occurs:
- if the postal consignment gets lost, i.e. we will confirm its loss, if it cannot be found despite our search
- if the postal consignment has been damaged or destroyed by our fault
- if we have failed to completely or partially collect the payment due upon delivery
We will make the compensation payment immediately after the damage or loss of the postal consignment has been confirmed. The compensation payment will be made in Euros.
We will make the compensation payment by bank transfer to the recipient’s bank account. The sender has the right to relinquish the compensation payment in his favour to the recipient and vice versa – the recipient may relinquish the compensation payment in his favour to the sender.
