What to do if the parcel has been damaged?

If you discover that your parcel has been damaged, at the moment of delivery?

It is very important to identify possible damage to the postal consignment at the moment of its delivery. It would be reasonable to open the damaged parcel and to check whether the items in the parcel are intact. If not, then record your findings together with the person who handed your parcel over to you. After that, make your application to us no later than 5 days from that. Definitely make your application before 30 days have passed from the date when the postal consignment was sent out.
 
If you discover that your merchandise has been damaged after the receipt of parcel?

Let us know about your damaged merchandise as soon as possible. In case of a delay in delivery, damage to the merchandise or its loss, make your application to us within five days, at the most. Make your application definitely, before 30 days have passed from the date when the postal consignment was sent out.
If you want to make an application, then refer to our customer service. Make a separate application to each postal consignment. As a business customer, you may refer to your customer service agent, who will give you further instructions.

In some cases the times for making an application are different:
 
  • EMS courier – within 4 months after the postal consignment was sent out
  • Courier Baltic – within 10 days after the postal consignment was delivered
  • Courier Europe - within 6 months after the postal consignment was handed over to Eesti Post
  • Courier Europe to Finland – within 6 working days after the postal consignment was handed over to the recipient
