- Once the parcel has been delivered to your local post office, you will receive a letter, text or e-mail to let you know.
- Make sure you take your ID with you when you go to collect the parcel.
- ‘Cash on delivery’ parcels need to be paid for. Such parcels are usually sent by mail-order catalogues.
- Another person can collect your parcel on the grounds on power of attorney. Some parcels will be issued only to you; this will be marked on the package.
Power of attorney for collecting parcels
You can also send us a digitally signed power of attorney. Make sure to add information on the post office where the shipment is located. Send the power of attorney to your customer or sales manager.
If you wish, you can also send it directly to an e-mail address [email protected]
If you submit a digital power of attorney on a workday before 16:00, it will enter into force on the following workday. You can write the power of attorney in free form or use our printed form. The text must include:
- the date when the power of attorney was issued;
- your first name and surname, home address or location, and personal identification code (legal bodies must include their name, registry code and the first and last name of the person issuing the power of attorney, their date of birth and place of residence);
- the contents of the power of attorney – actions that the mandatary can perform;
- how long the power of attorney is valid for; and
- your signature.
The power of attorney must carry the signature of a legal representative (e.g. member of the board, authorised signatory).
Power of attorney can be a one-off, multiple or general.
- One-off power of attorney authorises the retrieval of one specific parcel.
- Multiple power of attorney authorises the retrieval of multiple parcels within a specific period of time. A copy of the document will stay with the post office, and its original must be submitted every time a parcel is retrieved.
- General power of attorney has been given to the mandatary for general procedural operations. A copy of the document will stay with the post office, and its original must be submitted every time a parcel is retrieved.
