When do we compensate the loss?


We will compensate you direct damage caused by the following reasons:
  1. If a shipment is lost. If we cannot find the letter during the follow-up search, we record it as lost mail.
  2. If we are responsible for damaging or destroying the consignment.
  3. If we have not collected the total or part of the payment for the cash on demand package from the recipient


We will pay you the compensation immediately after it has been cleared that the consignment has been destroyed or lost. We will pay the compensation in euros.

The compensation sum will be transferred to the bank account of the beneficiary. The sender has the right to waive the compensation provided for the benefit of the recipient and vice versa - the recipient may waive compensation in favour of the sender.
To what extent are we compensating the loss?
 
  • As for the loss of the note delivery to the extent of postage cost

  • For the loss or complete looting or breaches of the contents of a registered mail EUR 35

  • For the loss of an insured registered mail or complete looting or breaches of the contents the compensation will equal the declared value

  • Partial looting or breaches of the contents of registered mail will be compensated to the extent of damage, but not more than set the maximum amount of compensation for the type of the item

  • Partial looting or breaches of the contents of insured registered mail will be compensated to the extent of damage, but not more than declared value of the insured item

  • The part of the payment for the cash on demand package that remained uncollected from the recipient
 
When do we not compensate the loss?
 
  • If the loss of the shipment or the damages of the contents are caused by force majeure. In this case, you will be entitled to a refund for already paid postage cost

  • We are not responsible for the loss, or the absence or damage to the contents that is caused by fault or negligence of the sender or the nature of the contents

  • We are not responsible if no inquiry about the shipment has been submitted within six months following the date of posting the shipment

An international registered letter 35 EUR
An international insured registered package A maximum of 4000 EUR, but depending on the destination country, the maximum sum can be lower or the service can be missing at all
Partial uncollecting of the payment for the cash on demand package To the extent of the uncollected payment for the cash on demand package
